MONTESSORI TRAINING IN ENGLISH

Audience

The training is open to all: teachers, parents of children attending school or practicing homeschooling, professionals in education and childhood and all those who are interested in children and in pedagogy.

No prerequisites are necessary to follow this training.

Schedule and content of the training

The training covers six weekends and 1 Sunday + a practicum. A la carte registration is possible. For dates and registration, please refer to: https://www.billetweb.fr/montessori-training-in-english.

From 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

 

Rates

130€ for a 2-days-module, 195€ for a 3-days-module.
 

Program

• PHILOSOPHY:

Philosophical foundations of Montessori pedagogy (including the development of the child from birth to 15 years old) and introduction to multiple intelligences. [2 days]

• PRACTICAL LIFE:

Supporting the development of concentration, coordination and independence through preliminary activities, care of the person, care of the environment and grace and courtesy. [2 days]

• SENSORY MATERIAL and CULTURAL SCIENCE:

Refinement of the senses (visual, tactile and stereognostic, auditory, olfactory, gustatory). Geography, history, biology and science experiments. [3 days]

• LANGUAGE ARTS:

Development of Oral Language and Vocabulary Enrichment Before and After Reading, Writing, Reading, Grammar. [2 days]

• MATHEMATICS:

Numbers up to 10, introduction to the decimal system, the 4 operations, counting up to 100, memorization of operations. [2 days]

• PRACTICUM:

Observation, material practice, interaction with children. [60 hours]

If you atttended at least 80% of the training and have finished your practicum, you'll earn a Montessori certificate.

A weekend of preparation for the practicum is planned with no additional fee.
